In my 4th Paint anniversary blog, 2 of the goals that I had set out for myself to accomplish during my 5th year on Paint were to revive both former Paint admin banjo2's 2views interview series and former Paint admin Gemini Guardian's song trades that she had held in her (now all but dead) RD: The Sequel group back in the day, and while I wasn't able to do so then, and both of these goals were not included in my goals for my 6th year on Paint listed in my 5th Paint anniversary blog, I am still considering trying to do both of these things nonetheless.

Regarding the 2views interview series, in it Banjo would ask his interviewees 20 different questions, 18 of which were standard (he asked everyone them), but 2 of which were specific questions about that particular interviewee submitted by community members, and the goal of it all was to let the commumity members here learn more about the interviewees, who were typically particularly prominent and/or well-known community members here.

Having been a big fan of the blog series and having always wanted to be an interviewee myself, it should be no surprise that I am interested in reviving it, and if anyone else here would like to see me do this, and/or has any recommendations as to who my first interviewee should be (the next person Banjo was going to interview was Rlad116), please leave a comment on this blog.

As for the song trades, here is Mimi's description of how those worked:

After listing everyone who has joined, I'll send you a message telling you who you'll be sharing a song with. It will be 1oo% random, too.

Once everyone has sent me their chosen songs, I'll distribute them with instructions.

You won't know whose song you'll be getting.

To make it more interesting, I'll have you all fill out a few things that show your thoughts on the song.

Nothing too crazy or long, tho'.

You'll have a week, which I feel would be enough time for everyone.

Listen to the entire song, don't quit listening after like 30 seconds just cos you dislike it. Finish what you started.

After the week ends, the results will be posted here along with the round no.

Previous round participants are automatically set into the next round, unless otherwise requested.

Rounds are every other week.

If I were to try to revive this, I'd probably hold the song trades in my Ryuusei no Tami group here on Paint, as well as on my Ryuusei no Tami Discord server, due to the fact that (unfortunately) few active Paint members are members of Mimi's RD group, and I'd obviously be taking Mimi's place as the organizer of the whole event, which means y'all would send your song submissions to me, and then I'd randomly redistribute them to y'all.

It is worth noting that in the past doing the song trades (or even listening to music on my own) would've been incredibly awkward, but due to this AWESOME phone that I have now thanks to an AWESOME friend whose name I tend to mention a bit too much (sorry about that lol), that is no longer an issue, and I should be able to hold the song trades without issue now.
