Climbing. It seemed like it was the only thing I did these days, well atleast these past few weeks. My dirt bike had run out of gas so I decided to leave the road and cut through some rocky hills, my mistake. Those "rocky hills" had turned into a wasteland of precipices and cliffs. I was lost. Lost and climbing, yah gotta love it. But being lost was the least of my problems. The tribe of Eligos; a group of raiders, had their headquarters among these hills. I had been stealing supplies from them, and know they were bent on killing me. I heard the sound of yelling in the distance, they were drawing closer. The sun was setting as I came to the top of another hill. I sighed with relief as I saw a road before me. “This should take me to a haven.” I said to myself. Running down the hill I saw an old barn. 'That should do for tonight.'
I woke up, the sun in my eyes, I had overslept. I opened a can of beans and ate in silence. Contemplating what I should do next. I looked around at my surroundings, 'This old barn could fall down any minute.' I got up a dusted of my jeans and shirt. I had a piece of clothe draped over my shoulders and my left arm, it also covered my face against the elements. I wore light armor on my left arm and leg. Picking up my pack, I left the barn, fixing my bandana on my head. 'No raiders in sight.' I thought to myself. I started down the road. "Hope this brings me somewhere."
Now instead of climbing, I was walking, for 7 hours, in the blazing sun. Frankly, I prefer riding. I started seeing shapes in the distance, was I halucinating? I drew closer and saw some men going the same direction as me. Hiding behind cover to cover, I slowly overtook them. They had camels, and a truck. Traders most likely. There were three travelers too, all carying AK-47s. I called out in greeting, putting my hands above my head. The traders got behind their truck and the travelers came towards me.
this is like one of them epic action movies, with the epic music and epic people doing epic things...except this, this is more of a serious epic, keep it up!
