This just proves that programmers should check their code for bugs before deploying changes.

I was cleaning up some older code for the login process to add message alerts (coming tomorrow) and toggling visibility of homepage sections. One section of code gave a FALSE for bad login and the member_id for a good login. I thought it was an old chunk of unused code, so I changed the valid login to be TRUE instead of member_id. For those who have worked with programming or learned Boolean algebra in school, you know that TRUE=1 and FALSE=0. Well, apparently that member_id code was still used, and it set everyone who logged in for a short period of time to member 1.

I received a quick and unexpected call from Lord Zeus about the bug. I immediately shut down my account, fixed the bug, and deleted all log-in sessions from the server.

That bug was fixed, but I found that two other bugs arose in the upgrade:
1. Passwords and bios screwed up for anyone who updated profiles in a span of about 10 minutes.
2. Viewing anyone's profiles showed the same admin rights that you had, plus the ones they had.

Everything is fixed, now. Also, loading member info after login is a tiny bit faster, and both Friends Online and Birthdays can be hidden on the homepage.
