Obviously, a few healthy snacks won't change the lives of obese children out there. But if they changed their ways altogether and ate healthier snacks, we could reduce the risk of disease and increase life expectancy. The world is just begging kids/everyone to eat their junk food and who can resist? Thats right. They can't. Fast food may be convenient, but its certainly not healthy. I have created a list of healthy food items below:
·Oatmeal
·Whole grain/ Whole wheat cereal
·yogurt
·eggs
·Salad
·Green Beans [all veggies]
·Apples [all fruits]
--Those were just some of the many healthy snacks out there.
**Tips**
·Drink plenty of water [sometimes people think they are hungry when they are really thirsty so they eat n eat n eat and become obese]
·Its a good idea to drink a glass of water before each meal so you become full quicker.
·Don't be too lazy, move around a bit.
·Try walking around for at least 15 mins after each show/movie
·Have good posture, don't slouch.
·Vitamin Supplements help, too.
·Be sure to weigh yourself weekly to see what your body is gaining/losing.
In my family, we sometimes get obese due to Gastrophlul Reflux Disease, in other words our urine gets hard and we need to drink Picosalax. That is the reason for many obese kids. Luckily, I drank my Picosalax, now I'm not chubby!
I have to eat fruits and veggies alot, too. Mainly because citric acid helps me.
I'm a little chubby, but i Don't mind. I've been the same weight for a half a year. Just watch what you eat, and don't always ask your parents for a ride to your friends house.
