As you may (or may not) know, later this year, Nintendo is releasing their next home console installment of the... legendary, Legend of Zelda series. While an exact date is unknown, it is known that it is releasing of the remake of the highly renowned Ocarina of Time for the 3DS.
If you've never heard of or played a game in the series, here's a quick and concise rundown:
Each game in the series is of an adventure, battle, puzzle and RPG gameplay styles. Exploration of new areas and dungeons (generally with the use of a recently acquired item) has been a consistent trait of the series.
Now that we've gotten that taken care of, here are some improvements that we know of, as well as some I'd like to see:
Music: The Zelda series has been known for it's beautiful and interesting music for over 2 decades now. Generally, the music in the game were MIDI tracks. Basically, this means that it the music wasn't recorded from, say, an orchestra. While Zelda music has always been superb, orchestrated music would make it even better, which is always nice.
Gamelay: One of the core gameplay concepts throughout the series has been the foreplay between exploring new environments completing dungeons within those environments. While this system works well and never feels boring, it would be nice to see a deviation from the norm. Luckily, the producer of the last decade of Zelda games, Eiji Aonuma, has stated that we can expect what I have asked for.
Voice Acting: While the series has nearly always told a great and epic story, one thing I feel that could add to it (if done properly) is voice acting. Some characters would most definitely benefit from voice acting, as certain nuances are much more apparent in speech. Ganondorf (if present) would be one such beneficiary. Link (the main character of the series) however, should stick to hs basic grunts and "Hiya!"s, as he is supposed to be a representation of the player (a link to player), so him speaking wouldn't feel right, not to mention it'd be word for him to suddenly do so.
Items: There are several item mainstays in the series, such as the Bow & Arrow, and bombs (both of which have been in EVERY game). While the items are cool, it's nice to see some new and unique items take the stage. One such item in Skyward Sword is the Beetle item. It's basically a mechanical beetle that Link can shoot and control, allowing to to perform a myriad of tasks such as carrying bombs. Aonuma has even spoken of the possibility of beetle races. I'm hoping for more uniqueness among the rest of the items.
Graphics: The series has always had top notch graphics, and Skyward Sword is no different. It's graphical style most closely resembles The Wind Waker's. I love the new style as it has a fluid and vibrant feel.

As you can see, I'm a big fan of the series. Hopefully the game turns out to be as good or better than I'm hoping.

800x480 res? I was having some trouble with that trying to put that screenshot in my bio. I must've edited and reuploaded to Tinypic about 5 times before I moved to Imageshack.
I noticed some flaws in the images, as some Zooms (i guess every) are Blurry on a DSi, to achieve a non-blurry display you must choose a resolution of 800x480 or bellow, and hint, try [ center ]ing your images that are smaller than 210px, other than that the blog is perfect, i am just giving you some hints
