As she walked out the door, Tanner knew he didn't mean what he had said. He was trying to be nice but the wrong words came out of his mouth, a fatal mistake. “What if....” Tanner said, but kept the original thought to himself, for fear of another person taking it the wrong way. But what he thought that day was truly inspiring. His thought, was a curious thought. What would it be like if our world worked that way? Would she have stayed? Or would she have still left? Tanner was still wondering about these two possibilities as he slept, woke, and worked through his days, always wondering.
