In 1918 the great war ended. This forced Germany into a bad economy, Hitler saw this as an idea to get at people he hated the most. The Jews. He hated them because they we all suucessful and he wasn't. Later he got into the Nazi Party and became the leader of it. He exploited the media to turn most of Germany against the Jews which leaded to something more serious. He started trying to get the Jews out of Germany. Eventually it came down to the final solution. Jews were killed. This started World war two. In this process six million were murdered.
Here is some of the stuff Hitler did to try and get the Jews out of Germany:

Making their businesses unable to stay open.
They had to study Hitler and the Nazis
Jews and Germans could not do anything together
Generally making their lives a misery.

Also they even organised ferries to ship them to far away countries such as America, Britain, France etc.

There was two types of camps where the Jews were sent to

Concentration-They were forced to work until they died

Extermination-They were killed if they survived concentration.

It's important to remember the holocaust as it may hopefully stop other people doing similar things.
