Under Normal circumstances, I don't write this type of blog. But, these are not normal circumstances. Many people know about my nephew. Jacob Ryan, is the center of my universe. He was born 5 weeks early on November 3, 2009. I'd give my life for him. Many of you know that he has some difficulties, such as total deafness in his left ear, & an eye problem. We are now faced with yet another possible issue, an issue that scres me to death. You see, many children have a heart murmer at his age. It's actually quite common. A heart murmur is when your heart skips a beat. His heartbeat has always been somewhat of an issue. It's been extremely faint since birth. But, during a recent routine examination, they found that my nephews heart skips 3 beats. Almost like it stops for a second, then begins again. Another thing that was noticed, he breathe's quickly & heavily. Like he can't keep his breathing up with his heart & he can't get enough oxygen. When he's asleep, it's also been noted that he sometimes makes funny noises, almost like he's faintly barking. The Dr. has decided that it could be potentially dangerous & wants him to see a heart specialist for some testing. I'm so terrified of what's going to happen. I don't know what your religion is, whomever is reading this, but please, keep this little boy in your hearts? He's only 2 years & 5 months old (as of April 3)
