Don't just blame Obama

Savii Alright, I've noticed quite a lot of Obama-Bashing, yet who hasn't. My problem though, is that it's on here.

My point arises, in the fact that, no matter what the topic, someone decides to bash Obama. Blog comment, or in the Chatrooms, someone does. Why? Why must you say "Obama's an awful moron" in the chats, while everyone else is talking TV or Games?

Another thing, is saying that Obama's the worst President. Well, let's look back to, oh, I don't know, 2000? Guess who was elected then? George W. Bush. And, what did he do for our Country? Oh, nothing more than an Oil-War, and digging us into the ground economically.
[note: I'm not saying I would have preferred that Al Gore have won the 2000 Election, but, things would be different.]

People are blaming Obama for many things that are out of his control. He's not perfect, but, what President has been perfect? Think about that.

And finally, since it leads to nothing good, really, I'm trying to understand why Politics haven't become a Taboo-Subject on here yet, such as Sexuality, or Religion. It only arouses anger, from those who don't look at the whole picture. If you want to talk Politics, do so in messages, not on someone's Blog about Pokèmon.

Take that into consideration, then let me know how long of a ban I deserve for contradicting the Republican Party.

@Mariah: Ahh, the days of conspiracy theories... I remember 'em. I honestly don't believe you, no offense. And last I checked, the U.S. had no business with/in Lebanon. He's President of the U.S., not the world.

I could care less whether or not he's dead, again, no offense. People are scared & confused these days, and will believe anything.

I doon't Really Care about presidents, since I live in Canada.. Where there are no presidents! But, I am also from lebanon .. Which is located in the middle east. And Lebanon has ALOT of wars, and killings, but Obama doesn't do anythiing, so many people are dying in lebanon.. It seems like Obama cares about everythiing / everwhere except lebanon. Now i have noothing against Obama, In fact i respect him.. But there is aloot of thiings Obama is hiding, that not anyone knows of, well some do,'and this is what obama is hiding; Well, Hitler, And Osama Bin Laden, and Obama are illumanities.. Now.. Hitler died on may 1st.. Osama bin laden died on may1st and ilumanities was formed on may 1st. Well, Osama Bin Ladin , Isn't Dead and Obama knows he isnt dead since obama and osama are both illuminites.. It is prooven that osama is still alive..In fact i found a video of Osama bin laden watching the tv , while the news is saying he died. That is why they didnt show a picture on the news. But if People find out obama is lying.. Then.. There will be a new president.. Please do beileve me.. And if you don't I will mail you the website clip of osama bin laden. THIS IS ALL ILLUMANITES ! They're suppose to making a 1000 mpg car thats "cheap" i doubt that'll happen and if it does, it won't be cheaper than alot of cars.

@gabe: I agree immensly on your second idea. It's easily do-able, and ensure things run efficiently.

On the second, that won't change. If someone presented a way to obtain the Green Cards[I believe that's the only way that the people can be here "legally".] But, it's not just us, it's the higher-ups. U.S. Citizens[it's insulting to call us "Americans", gives a bad name to rest of the Continent] are to lazy and stuck-up, not to mention a bit stupid, these days...

Remind me to call you guys "Illegal Aliens" when I move to Mexico if Palin *shudder* wins...

I don't really know... well anything about politics, but wouldn't it help if more U.S. citizens settled for dirty jobs instead of letting illegal aliens take them. that way more citizens would have jobs, although they probably wouldn't be paid well, and maybe if the illegal aliens see that there aren't many jobs available to them, they'll choose to leave.

this is just an idea of mine: could the government make a law stating that a vehicle must have over... lets say 35mpg fuel efficiency? that way we wouldn't be as dependent on fossil fuels, there'd be less air pollution, and maybe we could later switch to an alternative fuel source. I realize it would be difficult for trucks to achieve this, but maybe they could work out a different system for them as diesel trucks can run on vegetable oil. The materials from the cars that don't meet the requirements could be recycled by the owner, for profit.

But the thing is, he hasn't done plenty. He raised our debt atleast 5 trillion dollars since he's been president.
And we had been in debt atleast 8 trillion dollars for years, and he promised he would lower it, and all he's done is raise it. Now he regrets saying that. He's not making very wise choices in my opinion.

I wouldn't blame everything on Obama, but in my opinion, he isn't a very good president. He hasn't done much for our country. And i agree with Commander, he goes on vacation alot.
People used to get mad at Bush for going to his farm like twice a year in Texas, and look how much Obama and his wife go on vacation. I don't think its fair that people look at Bush horribly and say he was a bad president and he did nothing for our country, but look at Obama, what has he done?
(This is all how I see it. And i'm not saying Obama is horrible and the worst president ever and all that lovely crap, so don't freak out on me and get all angry, people.)

I'm very sorry and I don't want to start a debate but this blog is very glib. Mr. Obama has single-handedly put our country in debt more than 3x the starting amount. I will not go into detail but Mr. Obama has made wrong decisions, but still, don't bash too often.

What we need is to give Obama respect. I don't like Ferdinando Alonso, but I respect him, because he wouldn't be an F1 driver if he couldn't drive. In the same way as Obama wouldn't be President if he couldn't do Presidenty stuff. Just be thankful Homer J. Simpson isn't in charge -.-'

@Gamer: First off, it's *Bush. Try to spell whatever you're defending correctly, helps make you seem like you know what you're talking about.

2nd, This is mostly aimed at those who don't just "THINK" it, but try to force their opinion on others, the opinion being that Obama's the worst ever.

3rd, Yes, it's the parent's fault, not the companies, but, these days, no one really acts on everything, even health.

4th, You don't seem to remember in '07[or was it '08?] that gas prices were about $5.00? Oh, who was president then? That shrubbery person. In the [Chicago] Tribune today, this chart, which was issued to show how our foreign oil dependency rose and dipped with each President, and the fact that only 3 actually managed to lower it substantially.[Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, who, didn't really do muuch else, he just kept it that low... And Obama, who has lowered it quite a bit compared to what Bush did, giving us the all-time high of foreign oil dependency ever.]

5th, prices for everything else, which you should be more concerned with, is usually set on the State-Level, due to taxes.

6th,"fat"... I assume you're a twig of a child?

I can't but completely agree with COMMANDER. I absolutely THINK [Key Word: THINK] that Obama is ONE of the worst presidents. Gas prices have gone up by a few dollars since he was elected. He pretty much wants to take americans hard earned money and give it to some poor people. Plus, he's trying to extend SCHOOL hours and his wife is trying to make kids less "fat". I mean, it's the PARENTS fault if they only let their kid eat junk food. Busch did ALOT more than just bad, and has already done ALOT better than Obama has. Obama just tells you everything good, and then you see prices slowly increasing. Hmmmm, who do you think THAT would be?

I am shocked at COMMANDER's outburst, something must've made him really againt Obama.

I live in Australia, so I really can't say much about this issue, but I do know it's the same in Australia.

We've had 3 priminister's over the last 6 years, and all have been 'bashed', 'abused' and altogether agreed on being useless.

Heres a point: Nobody knew what Obama planned. Once someone is elected president, they are free. They can do whatever the crap they want. So, at first people thought he'd be great, but then after a while they changed thier minds. So, what Ii'm saying is that people thought Obama would be great, but then they realized he wasn't..

The United States is moving too close to Socialism in my opinion, and has been for a while. We need another President like Washington who believed in true freedom and set a high standard.

That aside, people are to respect those in authority over them, and that includes the government and the President, as long as the authority doesn't overdo it.
