Many have probably noticed that both DSiPaint.com and WiiOperaSDK.com have been glitchy lately with problems like slow load times and certificate error popups.

I've been trying to find a good advertising company to cover the costs of the websites after the last ad company started sneaking in porn ads. One of the ones I tried was dragging down the speed of the websites (AdsPilot); another was generating certificate errors (DomainJr). I scrapped both and am going with AdMob now. That's one of the biggest companies out there for mobile ads. I hope that these ads will be fast-loading an unobtrusive text, rather than what I have seen with other companies. I also hope that the products and services they display will be of interest to members here.

If Admob proves to generate enough revenue, I will use it to bring back contest prizes like those over the past summer (winter for the Aussies). Also, it will help to move to a faster server to keep up with the bandwidth demands for the rapid popularity growth in the past months.

If you notice any problems with AdMob, let me know. Those can be anything from website technical issues to inappropriate ads appearing at the top or bottom of the pages.
