As some of you may or may not know, the government are planning to completely shutdown the government at 12:00 midnight, tonight. So this means anything funded by the gov., is shut down(temporarily). This includes some buisnesses, National Parks, muesuems, and others.
Why, might you ask? It's a simple budget cut disagreement. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but it's over, "Abortion" and "Family Care".(Again, please correct me if wrong). The Democratics don't want to, and tthey blatently refuse to make any budget cuts for this reason. Republicans disagree. They believe we need this money.
So, how long will this game of 'chicken' last? It depends on when they agree. As some older members may recall, the government also shut down in 1995, for a few weeks. Pretty much same reason, but not the same subject.
How much will all of this help? This govermental shut-down will save us $2 billion dollars, claim R. Senates. WOO! Out of our 31.4 trillion(I think) debt, this is not even a start.
