Many peole don't know this, but lately, I've been in a lot of pain coming on here. After some testing was done a couple weeks ago, I saw my Dr yesterday. I officially have to have surgery. I'm not sure when the surgery is going to be yet. As of right now, I have to meet the surgeon on Tuesday, the 19th.
The test I had done revealed that I have a large gallstone in my gallbladder. My Dr said it's quite large. I asked about medication, but my Dr said the onky medication available does shrink it, but a majority of the time, they grow back. Surgery, is thus, my only option.
Though the surgery itself is not a major surgery, my case is very complicating giving the fact that I'm on a blood thinner called coumadin. I cannot be taken off blood thinners, so I'll be switched to a different kind, which will make the surgery less risky, but still more risky then your average gallbladder surgery. Quite simply: I'm a a surgical patient in which things can VERY EASILY go wrong. But as the title suggests, there is nothing to worry about! I just wanted to let everyone know how things were going, & what was coming up. Thank you to those of you who care.
