Peaceful days
a summer breeze
careless hours
beneath the trees

Sipping lemoade
from plastic glasses
watching the clouds
as time just passes

In gentle rhythm
the grasses sway
beckoning us
come forth and play

And so we do
for countless hours
running and prancing
between the flowers

Though darkness settles
accross the skies
we now run to catch
the fireflies

Having such fun
no concept of time
asleep under the stars
silent as mimes...

These are indeed
the days that I miss
filled with childish games
and unending bliss.
