As most of you already know, I'm the writer of "Roleplaying is ridiculous".

I often write rants right after something has happened, and it's usually late at night. I post my blogs and look at the reactions in the morning.

Annoyed me + Late night = Blog with horrible outcome.

Here's a few clarifications:

-The article was writen by me, after a member whos name will be unsaid, continued to pester me to roleplay, off and on, for nearly three months.

The article simply was suggesting that roleplaying in chatrooms seemed to have very little purpose, and that they often resulted in cybering (ones I'd seen). No one paid attention to the part that said just chatrooms.

I'm fine with role playing in real life, and I often cosplay as various characters. I'm not trying to be hypocritical however, as I consider chatroom roleplay and real life roleplay to be two seperate things.

I did not mean for this to get blown out of proportion and I'm not writing this to "be a suck up". I'm writing a sincere apology, and explanation for my words.

Onto the apology:

To members of DSiPaint who participate in roleplaying in chatrooms, I sincerely apologize for writing a blog that offended so many of you.

I was too vaugue and general, and that resulted in a major upset that caused a huge comotion, and the creation of four new chatrooms for roleplaying.


I hope to re-establish my reputation as a blogger, and continue to write and rant, but without offending people in the process.

Side Note: As I stated above, this is a sincere apology for creating a major upset on the site. I did not intend for that to happen (lol most disliked blog ever XD).

Anyway, this shouldn't happen again, by my own acord.
