Ok guys, girls, & children. Like it or not, as we've all seen Role Playing, or RPing, has become a major trend through out DSiPaint, & the internet alike. For those who don't know what RPing is, it's simply acting out a scenario or character of your choice. This blog is to speak about, what else? The rules that comes with the release of these new rooms.
First, & most obvious: These rooms have similar rules as the language chatrooms, French, Spanish, & German. Meaning, like the lanuguage rooms, where you are permitted to speak ONLY the language, in the RP rooms, you are ONLY to RP!
EXPLANATION: The RP rooms are made specifically for RPing, simple as that. They are not for general chat. You still have the OTHER rooms for that. Hull designed the RP rooms so as to keep them OUT of chats & minimize complaints. This means anything OTHER then RPing, will, more often then not, result in a warn/ban if you're caught. EVEN if you simply go in to yell "FAIL RP", or "NOOB RP" like I'm seeing all too often. Put simply, if you have no interest in RPing, you have no reason to enter the RP rooms.
GENERAL CHATS: Just like General Chat belongs in regular rooms, RP belongs in RP rooms. Please, Keep them there.
EXPLANATION: Again, the RP rooms were MADE for RPing...so keep the RPing to them rooms, NOT in general chat or, more often then not, a warning/ban will be issued.
EXTRA: I'd also like to note, that for those who got angry at my warnings & bans for there RPs involving weapons & being violent, I will be a bit more lenient if it's an RP that I'm seeing them in meaning, I will not warn for violent RPs unless I feel the violence is getting out of hand. Have fun with your RPs SDKers, & please, follow these simple rules, & there should not be an issue. Too violent might include: excesive blood, excessive death, excessive weapon use, too gory, etc.
