Animals have feelings? What a load of crap. What you identify as "emotions" is the primal and base mental faculties that most other organisms have. In our case it's the id and in either case it's the reaction to the flood of chemicals and adrenaline to the brain.

The fact that some of you personify animals as if they're disney cartoon characters just prove your ignorance. I'm all for animal testing for medical purposes. It can be you or someone you care about that may have an affliction and you may need a particlar drug to live. Without testing you may never have that drug and your days are numbered.

Besides, the majority of animals tested are rodents. Rodents have short lifespans and breed like crazy, ergo they are expendable, and the fact that they share genetic similarities with humans just make them all the more a valuable testing resource.

Anyway, people hunt animals. That's killing them.

We eat cow, deer, squirrel, chicken, fish, rabbit, pig, goat, lamb, and other animals. So, even if they do kill an animal during testing, it's no worse than eating a hamburger.
