It was a regular day on the site and I was chatting with my friends. We had all known each other on here for quite some time so we had no trouble finding a good topic. Most of us had resorted to pm by then, but then a noob came into the room and said "hi." I didn't say hello back and of course none of the other guys did. After waiting a few minutes I had saw the noob had left. I initially thought good riddance. Then I got to thinking that maybe it wasn't so good. This kid has a life too, right? I decided that next time I saw him I would say hello.
So it's the next day, I'm chatting with my friends again because my life allows me to do so more and more often each day. Surprisingly I saw the noob again. Sadly, it wasn't in the most pleasant way. He came in and immediately bypassed a word that is grounds for an insta ban. This all happened before I could say hi. This wasn't just any noob anymore, this was a friend that needed help.
Next time I moved into the chats he was there chatting with some of his random noob friends. The way u could tell that they were noobs was because of three things: that terrible lingo, their names were unreconizable, and their names had no caps and about five numbers. I went in and started talking to someone else first. Then I said hey to him. He didn't respond. I thought, pffft I don't need them.
Later that day I went into the chat and said hey to everyone. I got five or six hellos back. About thirty minutes later that kid came into the same chat. I said hey to him and he then ignored me again. Suddenly he was bombarded with hellos and he responded to all of them. I thought that this must be a fluke, no way he was this popular. Maybe everyone just had the same thought I did.
It turns out it wasn't a fluke because the same thing happened the next day, and te next, and the next. After reading what the noob wrote I realized he wasn't much more different than the rest of us. The noob, I should call him what he is, the member had a lot of friends. One of which was me.
