My baby girl she wasn't a day old,
when my mother called us.
My sister was devistated,
when her baby had died.

I remember when I cried,
my only baby niece.
My mother told us
"she... she died at birth."

I died inside,
my heart had broke.
I wished that I could up and hide,
what made my niece croak?

I went and saw her with my father,
cried my eyes out when I held her.
After a week was the funeral,
after that was the burial.

Not a dry eye in sight,
everyone had shown.
She didnt even see the light,
she didn't get a chance to be grown.

Three years later, I'm writing now,
I miss you more than ever.
And I seem to ask myself how,
did I get through these years?
