You are most likely familiar with what a puddle is. So I could skip explaining this, but I'll explain anyway.
Puddles are usually little areas in the ground that fill up with water. I suppose you could call a small hole filled with chocolate milk a puddle, but you could also pass it as dirty water. Imagine that. What if brown puddles were actually chocolate milk? But anyway, puddles are typically water.
PUDDLES CAN BE DANGEROUS.
So there's something called hydroplaning. Cars can do it when there's water on the road. Basically, if a car goes over a puddle, it can skim along the surface and lose some of its control. Because, y'know, tires don't have very good grip on water.
Also stepping in a puddle can cause damage. To your shoes. What if the puddle is murky and you can't see the bottom of it? How deep could it be? Could you step in and the water would be up to your middle? And you'd never go there again? Probably not.
So how can you eliminate a puddle? Wait for some sunshine to dry it up? Yes. But there are other ways, too. This is one easy method.
STEP 1. GRAB A SHOVEL.
STEP 2. SCOOP OUT WATER.
STEP 3. DRY THE REST WITH A TOWEL.
STEP 4. BE HAPPY.
So if you find a puddle that is easily gotten rid of, these steps are an option.
