I've submitted both the paid and free versions of the SDK Community app to the App Store for review. They contain the following updates:
- Coverflow of top 10-100 paintings from DSi, Wii, and 3DS
- Faster page loads
- Cleaner appearance
- Window transitions on iPhone/iPod
- Longer allowable timeouts with server for busy periods of the day
Much of this version includes behind-the-scenes changes. It's progressing to the point, now, where the interface is radically departing from that of the websites to give distinct experiences on each platform. Thus, the Wii, DSi, 3DS, Wii U, iPhone/iPod, and the iPad, will each have their own unique perspectives and features when interacting with the community. I have personally been jumping between the 3DS and iPad, due to how both have their strengths over each other.
Now that many of the behind-the-scene updates are done with the app, I will focus on several new features in the next version. Chatrooms and profiles seemed like the most popular ideas.
