The Internet is a place of many ups and downs. But hey, lets start with some of the basic ones and move into some more complex ones. I will go through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and this site along with other various blog sites. Stay with me through this journey through my issues I ran into on the Internet.
1) Facebook. Facebook has been around for a fair amount of time now and reaches many members from different countries all over the world. There are some good things about it Facebook, you know, being reunited with an old friend, keeping in touch with a relative, pretending that you are actually friends with someone, and of course, what I use it for, friending different gymnasts. But with these great features come the problems. Seeing that your cousin's baby just peed his pants (I needed to know that Stephanie, thanks), this like and ignore crap, stalkers (ask MoldyLunchBoxx), and the esteem killing unfriend button. Seeing as to how you can most likely understand what I mean with the good features, lets elaborate on the problems with it.
a) All these posts I don't want to know about. We all have that one addict who posts every single little thing that happened to them that day. Sometimes the unfriend button comes in handy with them, other times you may feel too guilty unfriending them. They treat Facebook like Twitter. And then they use hash tags with them sometimes, like, "Went outside, it was cold and windy. #cold #windy." To be honest no one really cares. New parents are the worst. They think that we want to know every single detail about their baby. "Jeffrey woke up." "Never mind, he just burped." "Gonna feed him later." "Feeding him. (selfie here)" It's uncivilized. The baby has no privacy. I can understand posting about a first word and first steps and stuff, but that other stuff isn't needed. Maybe I just don't understand because I've never had a kid, but I don't know, seems awful to me.
b) Ignore for devil, like for Jesus posts blowing up my timeline. First off, how are they going to know that I'm going to ignore this or not? For all they know I didn't even see it. Plus, it seems as though they are trying to scare you into loving God. It is incredibly annoying and has rendered my timeline pointless because I don't have time to go look at all those useless posts. It seeing one of those at 2 in the morning when you are in the basement alone isn't pleasant either. Anyone who likes or shares one of those photos will be unfriended by me.
c) Stalkers. Facebook is a hub for stalkers. I have had Internet stalkers. They aren't fun. Really creepy actually. They will friend you one place, then go and friend you on every site you are on in four minutes. Then they find out all the information about you and start talking to you. You can block them most places, but of course, the first place that they find me is here. And you really can't block them from everything here. You can unfriend them, but they can still comment on you stuff and find you different places. But yeah, stalkers especially creep me out on Facebook.
d) Unfriend button. Is there more of a way to show someone you hate them? I mean geez, if I friend you it means you're OK, average, you know. If I unfriend you, you must be an awful person. And I mean that in the meanest way.
2) Twitter. Twitter has grown less and less popular with the new crazes of Instagram and Tumblr, but it still exists and is my default one to post on. Twitter is the best for fan girls in my opinion because it has the little check mark for verified members. Meaning that they are the real celebrity, athlete, artist, etc. Twitter is interesting. The main downside I see is the 140 character limit. As you can see I enjoy writing long messages. I have also found out how picky people are as to who they follow on Twitter. The messaging system is the worst on I have ever seen too. And Twitter is the icon for useless posts. But the upsides include a rather kid friendly atmosphere, a way to connect with famous people, fast way to upload your life, timelines stay fairly clean.
a) 140, really? I get really excited because I thought of something awesome to post but of course, I go three characters over. It annoys me to no end. Although I still have over 2000 posts on Twitter, so obviously it doesn't offend me too badly.
b) I have almost no followers on Twitter. It's literally hard to get followers on Twitter. I mean, are my posts not cool enough? People also follow by profile pictures. If you have a bad profile picture, I will not follow you. That sounds awful, but if I'm not going to read your posts, why would I want to follow you? But to be honest, I'm good with my followers on Twitter because Viktoria Komova follows me.
c) The message system also have a 140 character limit on it. It's really annoying when you're trying to help someone out and can't because you can't type hardly anything. Plus you can't send photos. How am I supposed to annoy people with photos of gymnasts? Psh, they need to improve that.
d) Twitter has been known to have posts such as "eating cereal" "having fun." To be honest JB is the only person who I have ever seen tweet that kind of stuff. Most Twitter posts are useless but not as dumb as that. If you don't have Twitter, you should check it out despite its reputation. It's pretty cool actually.
3) Instagram. Instagram is a newer network that is used for photos. It has become very popular and may be one of my favorite social networks. I enjoy those nice summer bikini posts if you know what I mean. ;D Feel free to post these, even though some are not approved. Upsides to Instagram, well, I can't think as many I as I thought, but here are some, meeting new people, giving me the illusion of popular, quick way to get girl's numbers, nice selfies, and a great way to keep in touch with gymnastics. Kristine Levin posting her training videos and all. Anyway, there are also downsides to this of course. There will be some selfies that are less than satisfactory, all those damned hash tags that are just unneeded, and picture of quotes.
a) If you're below a five, you shouldn't be posting many selfies. I mean I quite honestly don't want to be spammed with your face. You could be a perfect ten, but if all you post is pictures of you doing the duck face that I don't want to be following you. If you post pictures of yourself with other people it isn't too bad, but you need to find a pleasant balance. Although, I will always accept Ekaterina Baturina's selfies.
b) Why do you want people who don't follow you liking your posts? I mean, posting fifty hash tags about summer to a picture of grapes is stupid. I went on the other day and literally saw a picture of a tree and saw hash tags like, #hot #cute #tuttifruiti #tall #birds #hatersgonnahate. It's ridiculous. Please stop. You make yourself look so stupid.
c) What is with the quotes? You post a picture, of words. Why? I may be wrong, but isn't that what Twitter is for? Get you networks straight. Or they will do something like take a selfie of them smiling and post the most depressing thing they can think of. It's like they are just looking for some senseless moron to give them sympathy.
4)3DSPaint/DSiPaint. I love this site and will be on it for a while longer. I hope to see population on the site go up a fair amount so I hope we find a better way to spread the word. This site is my favorite social network despite its size. I have many ups for it, and I'm sure you do as well. The blogs work well, the atmosphere is kid friendly, it's well looked after, the majority of people are nice, not many stalkers, love the BBs and Chats, although I don't use the groups that often I love the idea, many great bloggers unlike on other sites, etc. But, yes it's true, even this great site has its downsides. Lack of respect for new members, this online dating issue, rebellious six year olds thinking they are always right, and worst of all, the empty chats.
a) Older members. What is your problem? I understand that some new members don't know a lot about how to work the site and they may not have the best grammar, but they should still be treated as your equal. If you don't realize that then there is something wrong with you. Maybe the population how gone down on the site because we aren't welcoming enough. Did you know how to do everything the first week you were here? Maybe you did, who know, I certainly didn't. Hell, I'm not going to lie, if a member none of you have even heard of named evergreengolem wouldn't have been nice to me my first day here, I wouldn't be here anymore. I would have quit in that first day. People would likely behave better if someone was nice to them too. Recently a member whose primary language isn't English joined the site. He got a fair amount of crap. I was ready to ban some people for mistreating him. I don't know how many of you speak a second language, but communicating with people who speak it fluently is a major challenge and I think many of you may owe bobdwight an apology. I think we are getting better with this respect issue we have, but it still isn't fixed. Some of us really need to work on it.
b) Online dating. Well, what to say about online dating? I wrote a blog about how stupid it is a few months back, you should check that out. But to reiterate myself, it's pointless. No contact, no real relations, and to be blunt, no true love. Cybering in messages is disgusting. It doesn't make you cool, it doesn't get you friends. It makes people like my cringe and laugh at you. I can't talk too much about online dating because yes, I used to online date. I think you may find out most people did. I got bored with it quickly. I don't know about you, but I enjoy hugging people and cuddling with them. -hugs- and -kisses- means nothing. Even video chatting doesn't suffice. But hey, if you're happy, then have fun, just stay out of the chats with it.
c) Immature scum not knowing what a warn is. This is more an admin issue, but it is incredibly annoying. If someone warns you, like, a serious warn, you should be happy. We could just ban you, but we warned you first. You have no reason to explain yourself, and you weren't asked too. Just accept that you were warned and don't continue doing what you were warned for. I literally had someone bug me for warning them about bypassing. What goes on in your head? It doesn't make you cool standing up to authority, it just gets you on their bad side. So cool it, K?
d) The chats have been really empty in general. We need to bring some people back to the site. My friend Luxis123 and I hope that TMJ will help with that, but I suppose we will see. Try to get the word out about this site.
Well, I suppose I wrote a little too much and I'm sure you'll all selectively read it anyway, but yeah. Those are my opinions. Sorry about not blogging lately. I've been blogging on a Russian blog site. I practice the language by writing poems in it and stuff. It's a rather tough language to learn, but it is one I am proud to say I know. I have enjoy reading all y'all's blogs and hope that you enjoy this one. I spent some time on it.
With lots of love, Kyle Niner.

A special thanks to UnderRatedLuigi for writing and awesome fan blog about me, and to everyone who has made me some awesome fan art. Mean the world to me that you would take time to do that for me.
I agree with most you have said. I was'nt treated as a noob because, unlike people trying to be 'cool', i dont speak smashtwilightburger. I have a somewhat compulsive disorder. So people thought i was a regular, but ive only been on for about a month now. And some admins just ban people because they dont like them or more commonly be jerks of logic or other . Like Waffle. They also need to be more discriptive in bans. Two days ago I got banned for 'failing'. What did I fail at?
I read the whole blog. I don't have accounts on any of the other sites you mentioned but I happen to know some thigs about them and I agree with everything you said.
I pretty much read most of it, and I didn't know that bob was billingual. I thought he was purposely trying to be a noob, but I felt bad afterwards. I still apologized, and now we're ok, and I learned my lesson from there. Now, I ask somebody what their first language is before saying anything.
I see your concern, and will try to work on my respect. Sometimes, I don't even realize. Thanks for posting this, I now have something to work on.
Thanks for the shoutout to me as well, it means a lot. I know how difficult learning a language is, in fact, I gave up with Japanese.
I found the article very informative. Thanks for your time.
Actually Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram are becoming far more popular than Facebook among the younger generations, because Facebook is now overrun with older generations (this happened to Myspace). But Twitter is more for normal people to follow famous people.
I have to disagree about Twitter being a kid friendly site. You have no idea how many creepers have mentioned me in tweets and been like,"Wanna... *insert private, in the bedroom stuff here*, including a picture of themselves half naked", even with my whole twitter being centered around good morals and kid friendly posts.

I stalk everyone all the time for fun. Because fun. No intention of you know, finding them irl and murdering them or anything yet, but you know. Fun.
The facebook one, just unlike certain pages that post it, or change settings so you don't get posts from certain people, which I can't remember how to do off the top of my head, but if you google it I'm sure it will come up.
Online dating isn't necessarily bad, and I can't say I agree with your post about that. But yes, I do agree with it shouldn't be here. Here, where there are tons of kids and stuff. The fake kissing and junk is meaningless. That's why it's simply not done.
