I'm in a dark loud room, very loud room. People around me talking, laughing, and smiling. Talking about wonderful things. Things that I wish I could do. Besides being dark and loud it's also very crowded. My arms being brushed as people walk around me. Getting shoved for not moving. The people were very rude at times and very "nice" at other times. Wide open space you would think people would walk around me or aknoledge that i'm blind.
I was holding something, but I don't remember what. I decided to move after I was shoved for the third time. I moved over to the left side of the room. This side seemed alot more quiet some might even say peaceful. A person was in a rush to go somewhere and knocked me over. Without even noticing that he or she knocked me over. The person kept on running I assume. While on the ground I searched for what I was holding. I rubbed my hands all over the ground searching. I finally felt a crisp peice of paper.
Then it hit me, why i'm here. I received a letter in the mail erlier this week. It wasn't in brail so I couldn't read it. The person I am visiting said that she'll read it for me. Over the noise of people I heard a faint voice saying my name. I assumed it was my turn to visit her. Bumping into people searching for the door, rubbing my hands against the walls as I go. I finnaly jam my fingers in the door frame on accident. Knowing it's the door I feel for a doornob.
I twist the doornob and enter the room. The lady greets me and introduces herself. Her name is Sarah, she didn't say a last name. I handed over the letter. Sarah cleared her throught and spoke: You're very special even though you don't aknowledge that yourself. I wanted to give you a suprise, but a mystery seemed fine too. Thank you for being so special to me. I hope you enjoyed the mystery!
I started to cry from the joy the letter brought me. When I finally calmed down enough I asked who sent it. Sarah patted my back and said there was no name. I left smiling.
you caught something Beautiful in a fictional story.
