Hey, guys! I'd like to start a possible SDK blog Halloween project. It could be called the SDK Horror Fest. It'll be a lot of fun for all of the writers out there. You could write a multitude of blogs ranging from short story, to poems, and even reviews.

Before you go writing a bunch of blogs, I'd like to go over some ground rules. All blog and general site rules apply as they would any other time. If you can't say it in a chat room then it cannot go in your blog. I'm sure the majority of you already know this, but I'm just making sure. Your blogs can have some gore, but don't go over board with it.

Short stories are really a lot of fun to write and read. Fanfiction is ok sometimes, but for SDK Horror Fest fanfiction is NOT allowed. That means no Creepypasta. Be original with your writing. Originality is better anyway. I don't care what you right this year, but no poorly written ones because no one will feature those anyway. Make sure you check for errors and that your story fits together nicely. Poetry is a lot of fun too. Remember, poetry doesn't have to rhyme to be good. Try writing some in a different style. For stories and poems remember creepy is good.Review some of your favorite horror movies or games. If these movies or games are rated 'R' or 17+ you should probably put some kind of a disclaimer about that. Don't care but leave the swears out AND the "subtle" inappropro stuffs. You know who you is but we luffs you.

If you want your blog to be part of SDK Horror Fest then put it somewhere in your blog, such as the name. ex. SDK Horror fest at the top or bottom of it. Keep the stories short but not too short. I mean keep them contained to one blog and not in parts. The too short thing still applies because really short ones won't get featured.
