Once upon a time, there was a HullBreach. He was working on making the websites run as efficiently as possible. One part of this involved merging the chatroom database with the website database. In doing so, this HullBreach deleted all member accounts and had to restore from a day-old backup. And they lived happily ever after.

Yes, that is stored in a volatile table, so it resets on every server reboot, along with alerts, game show points, and chatroom activity.

I think Hull wanted to be like Dean Hall, creator of DayZ who had to purge all character data the day after the release of the standalone version because of server errors.

I noticed this happening. I finished writing a blog, saved, and then got logged out. I tried logging in and it said "Lost Password" and I checked the site on other parts but the only blogs showing were WaffleKing blogs, I was worried the apocalypse was upon us.
