Nintendo has a lot of fun games. These are a few of their franchises and a short overview of each.
Mario Mario is the most popular series that Nintendo makes. The main character, Mario, is a person who jumps really high. Almost everybody who plays video games has played a Mario game before. He battles a giant spiky turtle thing named Browser in order to save Peach. He must be hungry to do all that for a peach. Lolololol. Anyway, Browser has an army of weird creatures like walking mushrooms called Goombas, which Mario must deal with before fighting Browser. Oh, and Browser must really like the internet. Lolololol.
The Legend of Zelda Zelda games are pretty fun. They basically involve a guy in green who fights the bad guy and saves the princess (somewhat similar to Mario games). It's weird why he would be called Zelda though. Zelda is a girl's name. But anyway, he goes through dungeons which have puzzles and enemies in them, with a boss at the end of each dungeon. After completing these dungeons, he can progress on his adventure to the final boss.
Metroid Metroid is a space adventure game series. In it, Metroid has to shoot weird things that are kind of like space Goombas. Pretty cool. Of course, like most fun games, there are other enemies too, such as a giant dinolizardsaurus that flies named Ridley. Oh and also, Metroid is actually a girl. More modern Metroid games don't try to hide this fact though, so don't feel like you just read a major series spoiler.
Pokemon Pokemon games are mostly for handheld systems. They are about people who catch animals, which are called Pokemons, before they get taken to the zoo. Once the Pokemons are caught, they can be trained and stuff. The main point of the game is to have the Pokemons battle each other. But they're polite, so they take turns in battles. The home console games are a little different from the handheld ones, though. They're still about people that meet little creatures, but the creatures all look really similar to each other. Also the spelling is changed slightly to Pikmin.
If you haven't tried all of these series, there's probably at least one that you would really like.
1. There are no Pokemons. It's Pokémon.
2. The boy isn't Zelda, he's Link.
3. There was never a Browser in Mario. It's Bowser.
4. I despise you. Waffle King is epic.
I don't like any of the Metroid games. They feel slow and clunky, and honestly there isn't anything to be excited about in the games. But anyway, that's just me.
