We were walking home. It was freezing outside, and all public transportation was shut down. The snowing was really coming down hard. For some reason the university did not cancel school, so we all went to school and then they canceled all classes mid-lesson. We decided to just walk to my apartment, as it was the closest to campus. We walked slowly because it was really slippery out.
When we neared my place, I heard a noise. I thought it might be my cat, so I stopped to check so I wouldn't worry later. I walked around the outside and stopped down to check out a mound of snow.
As soon as I had bent over I got hit in the back of the head with an ice ball.
"Really?! What the hell, Don?!" I screamed.
"It's just snow, Anna. Ha." He laughed at my pain.
"Yea. Just snow. You're a wuss." His brother Ron added.
"That was ice you dumbass. You both are completely useless wasted lifeforms." I said angrily.
All of a sudden fear came over their faces.
"What the hell is that?!" Ron screamed.
"Watch out!" Yelled Don.
"Ha. Not falling for it." I scoffed.
"Anna!" They both yelled.
I felt arms wrap around me. I felt the pain in my stomach. I didn't scream.
They both turned to run, but two sets of arms shot up from the snow and tripped them.
"Anna." Don managed to utter.
The arms wrapped around me loosened and I stumbled to the ground. There wash a large gash in my stomach with blood oozing out. I gave an evil grin.
"Anna? You OK?" Ron asked.
I started shaking all over. A feeling of pleasure rippling through my body. My skin started to turn pale white. My eyes rolled to the back of my head so only white showed. I was shaking hard now. And laughing. Uncontrollably.
"What's going on?" Don whispered.
My flesh started to disintegrate, revealing nothing but pure white bone. My eyes fell out of my head, and my blood poured out and puddled around me kneeling there. I kept on laughing.
I turned to the being behind me, the one that got me. I grabbed some fabric from it. I put it on then took it's weapon. Standing up I had a black cloak draping over me I was leaning on a scythe.
I turned to the two of my friends laying there. I laughed and laughed and laughed as I walked toward them and took what was mine.
I have a job now. This whole ordeal wasn't so bad. I get paid pretty decent and the work isn't all that hard. And I have the best seat in Hell on reserve.
