For some of you in the know, there is a great little indie card game called Cards Against Humanity. For those that are not in the know, sucks for you and you should get on the ball and read up on this magnificent game.
Cards Against Humanity is a party game for more than three players, it plays exactly like the other, more normal party game Apples to Apples, except, in this game the idea is to be as much as a horrible person as your cards permit you.
Seriously if you are a goody goody, or get easily offended at life in general, this game is NOT FOR YOU.
However if you like twisted, horrible and offensive material that will make your mommy cry, than this is the game for you.
The game plays out like so.
One person plays a Black Card, much like these...
or
to which the rest of the players will play matching White Cards that they think best matches those Black Cards, such as..
or
When all of the players have played their White Cards, the person that played the Black Card now chooses which one they think is the best out of all of the ones played. If yours is picked, you get the point.
Things get kind of funny like this.
You get the picture.
"But Haru, this is kind of not family friendly and I am offended"
Correct, this is not a game that I would suggest for the normal 10 year old crowd, this is a game that I would suggest for players at least 14 or so older, some of the content, no...most of the content in the game is pretty offensive, or sexual, or just nasty, but its a game, and its no worse than the stuff you see in GTA, or watch on TV. With everything in the world, you have to take it as you see it, if you get offended, then its not for you and you gave it a try.
"But Haru, I love getting offended and this sounds like the perfect game for me..But I am forever alone except for my Twilight Sparkle Love Doll, how do I play this card game with other people over the internet?"
Good question. Fortunately there IS an online version with thousands of players playing all at the same time, and sometimes, if you are lucky, Haru will host an SDK game.
The link is (be warned, there is some language that little little little kids should not see on this link)
"But Haru, I am not a lonely neckbeard, and have all kinds of friends, and we all would LOVE to play this, where can I buy this and all of its expansions?"
"But Haru, I am from a third world country, and we do not get shipping out here. How do I get a copy?"
Great question, on the actual website linked above, there is a free downloadable version for you to print out...FOR FREE, just make sure you have plenty of black ink and paper!!!
And that concludes my review of Cards Against Humanity.
Love that brony reference. Except I have a Rainbow Dash love doll now. My Twilight Sparkle one is now obsolete, since she is now an alicorn, but not adorkable enough for me to love anymore.
loljk
I have a mom who thinks that anything offensive like that should be burned, so I probably won't ever get it...
For the angry person in you!
I would love to try this game. Seems like a good stress reliever... Or causer. Ehh don't care. It just looks like a good game.
I have seen that, there are a few Android ones as well, but they really are not that good. I think it would be pretty hard to come up with a decent mobile version that supported that many people.
