Hello, everyone. We all like to sound smart, but not all of us were lucky enough to actually be smart. Fortunately, intelligence is the very last thing you need to seem intelligence. There are plenty of things you can do to seem smart, and here I'll teach you a few of those tricks.
Tricking People into Thinking You're Smart
Over the years I've picked up a few easy tricks which not only will lead others to believe you're intelligent, but will also incite a sort of cautiousness in those around you that even gives them the feeling that you're always up to something. And that brings me to my first trick; always make them think you're up to no good.
I often find it's useful to have people think you're trying to pull some sort of trick on them because when they start trying to cover more sensitive information they inadvertently reveal a lot of very basic and essential information which, because of your lack of perception, you would not have figured out on your own.
(Remember, this is written with the idea in mind that you're not actually smart)
Here's an example:
You want to know where a roommate has hidden their candy, but they're too good at confusing you when asked directly about it. (The person I live with doesn't like to let me have candy because they think it gets me too excited)
Simply walk over to any part of the room, pick up something you could hide shtuff in, and act as though you know where the candy is and have already moved it to "certain place".
Because of how vaguely you should put this, as being too specific will give away the fact that your shoe doesn't actually have anything in it, the roommate will either think the candy is gone or that you have something sinister hidden away somewhere in the room.
In either case, they'll go looking around once you leave the room. This will tell you two things; first, they may have hidden the candy. This is an important thing to know because in being sneaky about it, I often overlook the possibility that the candy isn't hidden at all, and I instead simply lack basic observational skills.
The second thing you'll know is that they sincerely believe it to be in the realm of possibility for you to trick them in some sinister context. This doesn't help with finding the candy, but it is fun to know.
To seem more convincing, you should smirk and talk using big words or words that seem difficult to you. Try to fit in words like 'rather' and 'thereby". This is useful because use of such vocabulary makes people think you know what you're saying, rather than think you're just stringing words together that you've heard smart people say. People will react to this, thereby giving away vital information quite localization. It also helps if your nonsense rhymes a little.
One last thing you can do to seem smart is speak very slowly while walking around and looking the person you're speaking to up and down. That'll give them the impression that you not only know words but are carefully picking them while thinking hard about the situation at hand. To get an especially thoughtful tone, try thinking of complex things, or at least things that seem complex to you. Things like "What's on TV tonight?", "How do I say that one word I saw yesterday? Maybe I can work it into this. It seemed long." Or "Left foot, right foot".
That's all I have to share for now. Thanks for reading, and I hope you've learned something.

I have also moved the Raisons. (see what I did there?) *picks up plastic [mascot of raisin company] piggybank*
