Falling through the night sky
My body piercing the air
Brakes slammed on for a moment
Hanging in the air, gazing down from the cold dark night


My body hovering
My soul escaping
Leaving for a distant world
Never to return


Life accelerating faster
Everything flashing by
My life before my own eyes
Comes rushing through


Falling, spinning in a downward spiral
Out of control
No going back
Everything to regret


Hitting the icy cold water
A shock flows through
Slowly my soul slips back in
To stay until the end


Falling through the night sky
Piercing with no care
Brakes slam on, everything to lament
Losing all at such a hight


Mountain


Life is like climbing a mountain
Only to tumble back down
With all the burns, cuts, and scrapes
Nothing to take them away


It's a struggle
From start to end
In this world
Where you cannot trust a friend


To kill
Or be killed
Is our only game
We play it with no shame


Our glory is our gang
It seems everyone
Wants that power
To hold it above you


Like they're special
To hunt the innocent
And take all
Take everything they've gained
