This is old, but, they actually do teach religion is public schools.

In Australia, all religions, all races, and science, all kinda work together.

Because theres no need to argue about what one believes in.

Evolution is thec changing of one in a species. Take boys and girls. Well, if girls grow *beep beep beep* then they are evolving as we men arent changing, so men would be there own species.

Ok, I have a few things to say:
1. I was a Christian when I was younger and went to Sunday school, but I don't remember anybody saying anything like: "Ok, evolution is wrong, so don't believe anything your science teachers tell you"
2. The evolution theory has more proof to it than the non-evolutionist theories. Just look at fossils, selective breeding, and, right before your eyes, bacteria and viruses. After all, they evolved from some other strand into another, and they had enough difference to earn new names and classifications (like the highly drug-resistant super-bugs).
3. I have no idea how you can't believe in both evolution and a God or Gods. (I'm neither Athiest nor religious anymore, I decided I just stopped caring and I'll figure it out when I die, because I'm sick of all this fighting.) It's simple: you can believe the world was created in whatever way you think, and what ever God or Gods there are either influenced evolution or it just happened on its own.
4. I got in an arguement with Soul over time travel, he had me convinced his viewpoint was right in 5-10 minutes, in the chatroom. (I'd say 1-5 minutes would have been the real life equivalent.) No, that doesn't mean I'm easily convinced. Ask Soul, I put up what little of a fight I could, right? But you can't argue with facts and overwhelming supporting evidence.

Now please stop fighting everyone, and try to be more open-minded to other's beliefs.

just because a complete atheist knows more about the bible than you do, dosnt mean you have to argue about it, BMD. It actually gives the arc's exact dimensions. Dang toaster streudle...

lol i like this... the last few comments were actually pretty insightful... sorry if i offended overly religious ppl by telling the truth, but it was either me or some teacher you get in the future (unless you plan on working at mcdonalds all your life and dont plan on going to college). Evolution is just a theory, but really, if religion is anything, it's all just a "theory" and just because evolution is practically 99.9% proven, it dosnt mean that religion is wrong, it just means that its more complicated than ppl who invented the religion thousands of years ago could have ever known with their present knowledge... maybe i said too much there >.> but the bible DID say that the earth was flat... and that a giant flood happened and 2 of every single animal on earth fit inside of a 2 square acre arc... some of it is vague, and the rest is unbelievable. I'm just not a very faithful person, and i have a right to be skeptical with claims that are that... yes, unbelievable.

Thank you SoulSilver for posting all of these blogs because I believe in the science of evolution and the big bang theory while still being strongly religious and apologize on behalf of my peers for their ignorance and possible confusion. People who are throwing your bibles at Soul for believing(with facts to back it up) evolution or whatever should read a book in the "Wrinkle In Time" series( I don't recall the title) that broaches the topic of religion along with its ties to science. I am only 15 and I know about all the things he has mentioned,use your DSi's internet function to educate yourself. Go to Brainz.org or someting.

Actually, dogs came from about 6 distinct sub-species of wolves several thousand years ago. They are the only animal that "chose" humans as companions because of the mutual benefit in ancient times. It's amazing that hundreds of distinct breeds now exist from just those 6.

xD LOL, SS, know your facts. Different species of dogs is not evolution, it is "micro evolution" and actually proves evolution is wrong. Because it is not gaining genetic information as but loosing genetic information (the opposite of evolution). You just shot yourself in the foot! xD
