The Nintendo 3DS is a awesome console, you agree? Yes, not? Well i love it, but i need to admit... Is not have a perfect design or materials.

The Nintendo 3DS (original) for me is one of the most pretty portables consoles of the history. Nintendo has make a beautiful diamond for play.

On this blog i go comment some imperfections of the 3DS design.

1. The superior screen (superficial cape) and the tactile border under: If we have close own 3DS for a good time (just 3-4 days are sufficient for make this) can make horrible bubbles on the plastic to cover the 3DS screen. I gaved this problem! Yes, but thanks for my garanty of 1 year, Nintendo have changed that piece of my 3DS for free!

2. Your hands and the borders: A lot of people don't like the borders of the design of the 3DS becose are don't confortable after some minutes of play. Personally is not a problem for me.

3. Buttons material: After 2 years i have see ugly stretchs on the arrows buttons, A button and the cicular button... Well i go stop, that is normal be a lot "used"...

3. The top screen (superficial cape): I don't know if is just for me but... Is really easy make rayes on the superficial plastic cape, if you pass the stylus (example) is instantly make a ray... I know is not a tactil screen but common... My old DS (original version 2004) i haved used most of 9 years and is just have 2 rayes, and my 3DS on one year 2 rayes...

4. Dust particles: Is really easy enter between the top screen from the exits of audio (PD: Some solution?! D-:

4.5 Static Electricity (Dust particles): I left my 3DS on her base for charge between the night... I wake-up and i see a lot of dust on him...

And remember i like of the 3DS and im sure to is go make me happy with a lot of games like Animal Crossing New Leaf, Pokémon X & Y, Link between the worlds, Fire Emblem Awakening and more!

Oh... Something more (sorry)...

5: Original price/XL: I have pay 250€ (original price) for my 3DS and after know the new price, the 3DS XL and how many cost the 3DS XL (left of what i have pay for my normal 3DS) is maje me unhappy with Nintendo, anyway... The enterprises are like that, so... Let's go play Zelda! (T_T)

I don't know what you meant by no.3 but something i hate is th smaller touch screen will make lines on the larger top screen if the system is kept closed for some time

I have send my 3DS to Nintendo Repair Assistence for that...

The nº 3 is becose the front superficie of the 3D screen is easy to make rays, in the DS, DS Little, DSi, DSi XL and 3DS XL is more resistant.

I just dropped my 3ds on a tile floor at about 3ft. When i did this with my ipod touch with a hard case it cracked the screen.

Yeah, don't use harsd cases. They do next to nothing to save your electronics. Keep it from scratches, maybe, and light drops, but soft cases are far superior. I saw a guy drop two iPads from 60 ft. The one in the hard case was destroyed, while tne on in the soft case was still playing a movie as if nothing happened.

I've dropped my original white (when the other option was black, which I woud have preferred but it was a present) DSi which I've had since August 2009 probably 100 times and it works fine. The only thing is the L & R buttons don't work, but everyone has that problem. Yup, a solid thing. 5 years of use and it's still going.

Not gonna lie, the 3DS is REALLY durable. I've dropped mine countless amounts of times and it works as if its new.

Not to mention I also dropped it in water, and miraculously, it works.

for the speaker holes, leave them open. If something gets in there, I use a can of air to blast it out. But don't go directly into the hole, hold back an inche or two.

I have noticed many of those same problems on my 3DS, but I do agree that it is a nice looking device. Of Nintendo's portables, the original Nintendo DS was the ugliest, and I would place the Nintendo 3DS near the top in aesthetics.

The biggest problem with the 3DS is the horrible D-Pad and those cramped L/R buttons
