Once upon a time, there was a stuffed giraffe named George. She was somewhat irritated with her name since it was a boy's name, but her owner was 2 and she couldn't really complain.
George loved Goldfish. Whenever her owner would eat lunch, she always would feed George Goldfish. She would always gobble up the pretzel and pizza flavor blasted ones, since they were her favorites.
One day, George was at a tea party. She had to wear a hat that she didn't like. It was green, clashed with her spots and was squishing her stuffed horns. During a break to get more tea that her owner took, she decided to escape. She tore off the hat, ran down to the kitchen, grabbed the carton of pretzel goldfish and jumped on the back of the family dog.
The dog walked to the local park and George hopped off. She settled in a large field and decided to make a giraffe nest.
She ran around, collecting tall grass on her velcro hooves and burs to hold them together. After about a half an hour, she had constructed a hut tall enough for her to live in.
She proceded to eat all of the goldfish, then headed outside to look for more food.
Out on the open plains, George immediately spotted a prowling panther. This was George's old family's cat, but she didn't know that.
The cat began to stalk George, crawling closer. George let out a stuffed scream and ran into her house. The cat effortlessly huffed, puffed, and blew her house down. He then picked her up and carried her home.
George struggled all the way there but the cat's tail had a tight grip on her. At home, the cat took her upstairs and dropped her off at the tea party, which had become a LEGO warzone after her owner's brother showed up.
George looked around and realized she was surrounded. The minifigures stared menacingly at her, hands on their Star Wars blasters.
There was only one thing to do. She lowered her head and swung in a circle, using it like a club. All the soldiers fell over, leavong her victorious.
She squealed a stuffed cheer and was about to leave, when the door opened and she heard a high-pitched voice.
"George back!"
I decided to write a short story for a contest, and saw a little giraffe on my chair of stuffed animals, then decided to write about it.
I submitted it just because, but it ended up getting featured, and people love it. Cool. Thanks a lot guys
