Hello, everyone. I thought it might be fun to share a little about myself with you all, so I decided to write about my bed. For those who don't know, I'm Beloved. That's my name. Wink wink.
Enjoy.
I Didn't Quite Think this Through
I just felt like writing something, that title came to mind, and now here we are. I wonder what I'll write? Let's find out.
So, my bed. It's a pretty normal bed. There are pillows and sheets. I have some books on the head piece. Both ends have these black metal bars. I wanted them to be sturdy for when I tie things to them. Things like rope, handcuffs, and, of course, pillows so they don't go falling off the bed.
I'm sure you're wondering about the rope and handcuffs, huh?
The sheets are a dark green with a big purple square in the middle. There's a gold trim and the purple square has this extra dark purple design to it. It's one of those nonsense patterns meant to just be pretty. They tend to get messy often. I guess that happens easily when two people are on there.
Unlike most beds, mine isn't elevated. It's just on the floor. I don't like all the shaking that goes on when someone is moving around on it a lot. There's another reason for this though.
Do you know what it is?
Most of the books I have there are generally romance novels. There are a few which aren't quite suited for a younger audience. Personally, I like to be open minded and adventurous about my reading preferences. I frequently make use of what I learn in my books, so that's good for my guests.
I'm sure by now you've guessed what it is that goes on in my bed. It really isn't all that hard to figure out. Just in case you've no imagination, though, I'll tell you outright; I exorcise demons here.
The books I have there are more specifically books about demons and how to get rid of them. Not really something I'd say is appropriate for kids. That's what I use when I encounter a demon I'm unfamiliar with. The romance novels are there because demons are weak to the power of love, and what's more love filled than romance?
The metal bars and handcuffs are there to secure the possessed person to the bed while the rope keeps me in place so they can't push me away. The pillows are secured as well to keep them from flying off the bed during an exorcism. It's a pain to pick them all back up afterward.
I'm sure you can imagine how wrinkled the sheets can get with all that thrashing around. And the bed is on the floor both to keep the bed from moving too much and to prevent the demon from hiding underneath once they've left the host body.
Finally, the color and design on the sheets is also very important; it's pretty. After comfort, that's my top priority when looking for bed sheets.
That's about it. I guess I also sleep on there. Thanks for reading.
