I think the layout of Plaza is more intuitive and smooth(never been huge on the way Paint looks).
But, actual coding is much more advanced here(HB is the oldest/most experienced coder in the community and the features here definitely show that).

The community over at Plaza is just miserable to be around, which makes Paint better regardless of the features on either site. That place is n00b central.

Yeah, We're getting pretty close. I just haven't really been updating the progress page.

The DSi is very low-tech relative to most other mobile browsers these days.
We design for 3DS/PC/iPod/iPhone all at the same time and then adjust for DSi afterward(because it's crappy and needs that special attention in order to work right). Because of this, DSi users will always be slightly behind the others, but hopefully not by too much. I just barely made some more stylesheet adjustments to boost DSi compatibility so check it out again.

I dunno how long it's gonna take. The other admins are slacking off badly. If they worked hard, we could probably get it done withing the next week, but at the rate they are going it could take another month. Just depends on whether or not they get into gear.

The site is not only good-looking so far, but it's also lightning-fast because there are ZERO resources to load.

I think it is looking great so far. Some parts are a little... choppy, and need some smoothing out. For example, the registration form should be centered and the "New here? Register for free!" would look nicer with some kind of styling. Considering you just barely built it though those things don't really matter yet. Just keep doin' what your doin' :)

I have to so stuff that doesn't require much designing(to let the designers catch up), So the API might actually come out on the beta release. I'm working on it right now and it's going pretty great.

I plan on creating an API of some sort that will allow other sites to connect to ours automatically. That won't be part of the initial release though.


Plaza has about 25 thousand uses, and Hub was approaching 20,000 before its demise.
