Except Halo is by Microsoft/343 industries (343? Can't remember what the number was), so boo.. and it would be an absurd idea to do so anyway, so..

Each has it's own perks and flaws.
I prefer modern, but in some cases classic is just a ton more awesome.
Some modern developers are actually really creative, among those who aren't as imaginative.
One game I loved as a classic was Spyro.
I LOOVED it.
After we traded in our PS2 and it's games, years after, Skylanders came out, and I thought it was stupid compared to the old one.
Not that it was a copy of anything or that it was unoriginal, I just didn't love it like the original.
I'd have to say classic. Modern is good, but most games don't get you hooked. You'll get bored of it eventually.
I may be getting Banjo-Tooie.
Yes, it's rather a childish game, but it's quite fun and intriguing. Makes you think often.
Plus, I've already got the games I love.
Any PG rated shooting kiddie game XD
Besides those, I'd have to say the Halo games for PC. It's horrible. And many other in-browser and download FPS's for PC.
