Noooooooooo..... Netflix and like-things are crappy and I like being able to go into a store and feel the cases and look at them and pick a freaking movie and buy or rent it and bring it home and put said movie in the appropriate player, and watch it. If I wanted a file of the movie I'd just download it free of charge, which I hardly ever do unless it's some rare movie that doesn't even exist in my country on DVD or VHS since I physical copies of things. Screw this I'm going back to the 80's.
Wait, I just read the article and it says SOME are closing, but not all.. pfft I got upset over nothing. My blockbuster is still opened I'm pretty sure.
I recently got Netflix for Wii, and I have only one thing to say. Screw you Blockbuster. Unlimited movies from a lot more variety, and a monthly fee less than $10.00. That's heaven.
Aw blockbuster here is closing down after september </3 )': My mom went and bought a bunch of movies and a game since they're having a sale.. Also blockbuster's deals are better than netflix, they don't charge extra for blurays(like netflix does), they have games(which netflix doesn't have) and you can(well, could) exchange them at the blockbuster store, too instead of waiting for the mail. Whatevaa, netflix is just going to jack up their prices once they're the only game in town. :*
We still have a Blockbuster in our city, and it's doing fine. Even if it's jammed between Wal Mart and Game Stop. But it's the only movie/game renting place left. Personally, I'm more upset at Borders closing
