1)I like dark things.
Horror Movies make me smile when the group of underage teens who drink, do drugs, and have sex with everyone all die (Which basically means most horror movies make me smile).
When a noob who says "its totaly safe to taek cndy frum strngers" is killed later by the stranger because he went in the stranger's van when asked if he wants candy, I laugh.
In fact, I absolutely love the fact that really bad things happen. If everything was good, life would be just plain boring. AND, if there were no school shootings, students would never be prepared if one actually happened. It's good that bad things happen, to a certain extent.
Every single time I watch a TV show or a movie, I think about what it would be like if that movie or show was darker.
I'm actually surprised people who think like this aren't the majority. But that might just be my own egotistical semi-insane mind speaking.

I am also completely antisocial in real life.

One part of me thinks all people are stupid (Which I know is completely false, although I can't help thinking about it).

Another part of me just avoids everyone (Mostly because most people I try to 'make friends' with ends up hating me or never get to know me {Due to moving purposes} so...)

Another part of me thinks that I'm better than everyone and don't need people (Again, I know this is COMPLETELY false, but I can't help thinking that. I regret thinking it, because it makes me sound like a selfish jerk, even though I don't want to be that.)

In fact, that's why I'm on here a lot. The internet is better. You don't see people as they really are. Most of you would be afraid of me if you met me in real life. But I don't act like that on here. You can be anyone on the internet. In my opinion, many people on the internet are better than many people in real life (Excluding the noobs and such). I never would've met anyone like Arty, Hull, Haru, Sei, Alpha, or anyone like that in real life.

Frankly, I like this place more, to a certain extent.

Also, this place has BanMan.

Where I live, we don't have a BanMan. :(

I find that the internet let's people be who they really want to be, more so than they ever could, usually, under normal circumstance. Of course, this isn't true for everybody, but it is for me. Right now irl, I pretend to be who other people think I am. It kind of sucks.

Oh. Yeah, that does suck. That's why this place is better. Sure, the noobish kind get in the way, but other than that, it's great.

When you see others as text instead of actual people, you think "Oh, they could be anyone." There are little to none 'first impressions' or whatever to guide you, which, in my opinion, helps you meet people and 'make friends'.

Then you realize "Hey, I'm text too!" and so you can be anyone you want. You don't have to be that nervous guy who sits in the corner and never talks to anyone. You don't have to be the nerdy girl everyone makes fun of. You don't have to be the guy everyone makes fun of because he's overweight or in a wheelchair. You can be who you want to be. You could be that outstanding guy who likes everyone, or you could be the smart girl everyone looks up to.

That's why the internet is great. It helps. It's amazingly great. I've ever done anything I should be proud of in real life, nothing that spectacular.

But then I come on here and I remember "Hey! I've created a series that's become more popular than I could EVER imagine! I've went up against a french pedophile and won! I've made a picture for an extremely popular Paint admin who replaced the CREATOR OF THIS SITE's picture with his on his profile!"

It's amazing.

Now I feel like saying that to all those old people who talk about how 'the internet rots your mind'.

Yeah, I can relate to that. I don't sit with people at all. Everyone I know are either jerks, noobs (Yes, I called actual people noobs. I SWEAR one of them acted EXACTLY like DeviCon did), or are frankly boring. Most of my friends are girls, actually. I hate physical things and things most other boys do (Lolol I tried Football once but I stopped after I was rammed in the stomach), so that's most likely why. I only try to 'make friends' with people like me (People I consider crazy and don't talk to others).

I thought about this a while back, comparing the Internet and real life, and that was actually the ulterior inspiration behind The Internet.

I'd love it like that. A place JUST LIKE THIS, but instead of typing on a 3DS to chat, you could simply talk. Just like real life, but we still had anonymity and stuff.
