Man.. I went on my 3ds that i never use.. i was so bored so i decided to search the site up again.. so much good memories.. such good people.. such weird role playing now that i think about it... its crazy. i wish this could all just come back.. 16 im a junior and i discovered this site when i was 12 turning 13

Man, I remember discovering the site when I was 11 and getting banned because I thought spamming symbols was hilarious. I didn't have a ton of friends, so this was where I came to chat with others. To think that was 6 years ago in May, and that I'm now coming up on 17... SDK is honestly something I'll never be able to forget, even though I gradually lost interest as I found new friends and new interests. I spent so much time here that it's become a part of me, and as TacoRocco said, it's pretty disheartening to see it die. It was probably inevitable, though; we were all bound to outgrow the site at some point.

While Hull is banking on the return of traffic as a result of his new apps, I'm pretty sure that not much can be done to bring the community back to life. Most of the old members are long gone, grown out of the community, so there's no real foundation to rebuild the community on.

It's been a good run, guys. I recognize many of your names from the past 6 years (even if you guys don't recognize mine, I wasn't really the most involved); we definitely had a good community. It wasn't free from drama, but I think it went pretty well for the most part. It would be amazing if it could be revived, but I don't know if it's going to happen.

I'll keep an eye out for you guys wherever we all end up!

But yea, real talk, I remember when Paint use to be flourishing with users. I still remember logging on here like it was yesterday, despite the fact I had to change my password a few moments ago because it had been nearly a year since I got on..., and chat with friends and family.

Like others may have said before, I guess growing social media has taken the spotlight while we're still haven't heard much about TMJ... I'm looking at you game devs and programmers!.

But yea, I guess DSiPaint has aged, and so has most of the users here... Then again, what am I saying, HullBreach was like 30 something if I recall, and some users were either too old (I'm talking 80+ years... You 1920s children need to go somewhere. No offense) or too young.

But yeah, I guess it's safe to say that Paint has now become nothing more than a Relic in DSi's and 3DS's history. Unless you delete your history regularly to conserve space and reduce loading times on your browser...

Wait, is anyone even listening to this? Am I the last man standing? o.O

I wanna advance ahead of the game, but I'm stuck patrolling this darn platform!!!

I joined when I was in seventh grade (I'm a senior in high school now) and I used to go on all the time. After I got my first iTouch, though, I had a lot more freedom to go anywhere on the Internet, and I soon forgot about this little site. It will always be in my heart, though, right next to Flipnote Hatena.
Man, my time in middle school was pretty awesome thanks to the DSi.

Yeah.. This place is a favorite childhood memory of mine. I still talk to some people I've met because of this site. 2010 And 2011 were such good times around here.
It's nice to see there's a few people lurking, at least. The occasional new blog or polls are fun.. but it's dead. That's hard to think about.

I'm happy to see the site is still around, though. Trying to pull up dsipaint.com and getting no result sounds.. weird.

Whenever I'm on the computer, I still check this place along with Facebook and whatever else. Maybe it's out of habit, because for whatever reason no matter how many times I see that there are 0 people in the chatrooms, I still come back as if five years never passed.

I missed it's glorious days... I didn't had my own DSi/3DS when it was a nice place to stay :<

Unless a miracle happens, I don't I'll be coming back. I remember having so many memories. Now all of my friends are gone, and I'll probably never see a lot of them again. Coming back here after 4 years brought a burst of nostalgia, but also depression, seeing how...dead, the site is. If the site does (somehow) get revived, you will find me, trying to find my old friends. :) So for now, goodbye.

There's an interesting take on this topic. The average non-admin has little incentive to log in on a regular basis because the new stuff to see/read is so scarce. It's to the point where one logs in merely for the sake of logging in--something I'm guilty of.

ya the days....the feelz....none of the friends i had here go on anymore. My friend (tucm0227) and I found this site back at the beginning of 2012 back when it was still super active. The summer of 2013 i got a phone and i never went on anymore. Tucm and I came back last year to find it dead lol. It depresses me thinking about what this website used to be. This website is like a time capsule now. I remember Haru would always piss me off by banning me from chat rooms lol. The only thing i liked about him was his <3 for Horde. Looking back now I cringe at how immature i was just 4 years ago...
