dsi power problem

It sounds like your current battery's life is ebbing. You probably need a new battery. How long does the system stay powered on after being recharged?

Something similar happened to me, I just left my DSi alone for a week, it kinda cured itself o_o

The DSi's lack of a manual power reset is a downfall. If the system crashes and the screen freezes, there's no way to power it off.

Have you dropped it a lot? Contact with water? Some internal parts could be misplaced, idk.

Limx- I've had my DSi crash and freeze, and there is a manual way to shut it off when that happens. If you hold down the Start and Select buttons while you press Power, it should shut off.

I had the same problem, n' for me, that was solved itself in 30 min by turn off the DSi (after you get the battery out of your DSi for 1 or 2 minutes).

the dsi power gets shorter and shorter if you charge it when it doesnt have ver low/no battery life.my dsi can withstand 5 hours

i just adjust the light setting by using select+volume and it snaps rigt out of it

Fuses are blown. Same happened with my Lite. With a little knowledge, it can be replaced at home. I did that, but it never worked the same again.
I know my apprehensions might never be allayed. And so I close, realizing that perhaps the ending has not yet been written...
