I didn't battle or use actions at all. I merely went to the shop, clicked an item, then clicked "Done." And lag shouldn't be related to this; the connection was fine at the time. And the worst effect that lag would probably have would be me possibly clicking erroneously and maybe having the query database being overloaded.
When someone battles you and they win then the person that loses loses site rep human or cpu. Thats why when you battle a human it stops at a certain point as they are banned
This just happened to me again, but under different circumstances. I had just depleted my Caffeine, but my Battery and Site Rep were both full. I clicked Exit, clicked the game again, and clicked my character again--and its Site Rep was suddenly "BANNED".
i've been playing this game for quite a while, and this has never nappened to me.
it sounds like just a simple one time glitch.
i wouldn't worry about it to much.
@ROB-DOG If other players battling "you" can affect both your battery and your opponent's battery, that's news to me. I personally don't think this is the case because then the game could potentially be a one-sided competitive nightmare.
@Red Mist Being banned in-game still isn't helpful.
@dr-luigi Thing is, the chance of winning a battle is the same whether you're at Noob level or Overlord status. How many Awesome Points you have doesn't influence battle outcome.
@Jakeybored Coincidence. It just doesn't make sense that you could be banned for just opening the game while someone else battles you.
@SIFATJ When you lose a battle, I'm pretty sure it only affects your own battery and your own site rep.
So I think battling another player is exactly the same as battling an NPC, except that it shows up on that player's "Defended" list.
I may have been wrong about assuming that other players battling you can't affect your rep. It seems that if someone else battles you and they win enough, then you can get banned. I don't much like it, but that's how it seems.
