Mario Kart Problem

I have a Mario Kart game but it doesn't work for DSi. When I start it up, It shows me an error screen that tells me to check my manual. What should I do?

if not original, easy, your version have blocked fake game. If you using original, update your version dsi. Buy Original, get a better respect

Its not the ace kard or any thing like that, but I don't think its the real thing. The top of it almost comes off and the manual looks printed.

@Darmanilink Don't go straight to conclusions. It says to check the manual so the answer is extremely obvious.

It has the Mario Kart label, it doesn't say ace kard and we tried it on a ds lite and when we tapped on it, Mario kart started right up and worked great.
