Haha, interesting.I`ve never actually cried for a game, but! In Gears Of War 2, a man is trying to find his wife. When he does finally find her, he`s so happy, but she starts turning grey, and turns into the enemy. He starts to freak out, and begs your character for help, but there`s nothing to do.So you start to walk away.As you`re walking, you hear a small gunshot...He had to kill his wife....Just, when you see it, it`s very sad.I didn`t cry, but something stirred in me.
Oh, and in the Christmas level on Elite Beat Agents, I cried for hours thinking about the dead man who came back as a *sniffle* ghost to *sobs* deliver...a...present...to...his daughter...*cries* I LOVED THAT GAME...!
[Possible]1st: Some point in Crystal, maybe when I realised there were 8 more Leaders.[Damn you, Kanto.] And the fact it took me a week just to get past Karin.
[definate]1st: In Drawn to Life[1], the story is very touching, the characters cute... Saddening... First time a game caused the emotion of sadness...
2nd/3rd: Cave Story, so many sad points in it... Toroko & King's death, Curly's death[if you donn't do a certain something to prevent.], etc...
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
I cried at the end of Mother 3... It's a great game, but the antagonist is such a bastard... He thinks of the world as his toybox. The ending is very emotional if you go through the entire game.
Only in the Professor Layton series. Number 2 you find out that the "Vampire" is actually an old man crazed with hallucinogens to think folsense is a bustling town when it's really ruins.
It gets worse in 3 when you figure out the girl who was following layton was actually his dead girlfriend who teleported through time after a time machine blast. But it's not a happy ending- Layton discovers that she will be teleported back only just before the back to be killed by the blast.
