I think these are some pretty good tips.

@sir quinn You're actually wrong. In the time of the actual show, Ash has only had Pikachu for about 5 years or so. The anime obviously doesn't follow our time. Not to mention it has defeated freaking Legendary such as Regice and tied against Latios, who had the type advantage. Lame trainer, Ash is not.

Here're a few that I know:
-In contrast to the games, the anime shows that there are multiples of the majority of Legendary Pokémon.
-Sudowoodo's name comes from the words pseudo, meaning false and wood. False wood, see? Since it pretends to be and looks like a tree.
-Arceus has the highest base stat total, just edging out the previous highest, Mewtwo.
-In the anime, Ash has battle 6 legendary Pokémon, and beaten 4 of them.
-Ash has battled 6 Elite Four members (of different regions), and has lost to all of them without beating a single on of their Pokémon.
