WORKING CHAT

I am going to show you how to make a basic chat. I need help with making the chat get the username, also I need help making a user profile. If you can help I'll give you a useful code to help posting stuff like blogs.

Okay first of we need to name a databse chatmessages.
There will be 5 fields.

ID-Bigint,20, auto increcement
name Varchar,255,latin1_sweedish_ci
IP,Varchar,255,latin1_sweedish_ci
postime,Bigint,20
message-i recommend tinytext but if u want users to be able to post 400 char. then put mediumtext, latin1_sweedish_ci

Then save.
