The government has decided to STOP funding NASA all together. just like the old time phone, because once the government let go of the telephone, verison AT&T made more advanced phones because of COMPETITION, once the government lets go of NASA, what do you think will happen to space travel?
Well, this has been talked about a bit, nice topic, by the way. Umm... Well, it's time for someone else to take a charge in it. Besides, there are other programs out there.
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
and competition is a strong force, just like the cold war where America and Russia were competing 2 b the best! this effect could inpact space travel grately!
The budget for NASA has been and is being cut, but isn't being ended. This year, they're still going to be receiving nearly $18.5 billion, mainly for exploration. Recently, NASA's activities have been monitored a little more closely, just so that they stay focused. Right now, their official goals are a Mars landing, further surveys of the moon and construction of a lunar base for the exploration of Mars, and planning for a path system to accessible points in the vicinity of Earth. Work on the International Space Station will continue for at least another 5 years. They are notably relying a bit more on private aerospace companies to develop new rocket technologies, like the Liberty launcher. The way is certainly being paved for space commercialization and tourism.
