They said they aren't doing a Gen 5 redux version by the way.

We know Pokemon is coming to the 3DS, but I'm surprised they didn't release Black and White as a 3DS launch title. Incredible sales would have been assured.

I personally hope they make it more like Colloseum/XD in that it's a 3D adventure...IN 3-D!!! Dun dun duuuunnnn! :)

I think it will probably be a 3rd gen. remake, hopefully of emerald.

So, gen 3 remake is next. Can you imagine the rayquaza groudon kyogre battle in 3D!

@jakeybored Remakes aren't necessarily completely pointless. Their main function (in the Pokémon series) is to provide access to past Pokemon that are not available in current games. Not to mention, Pokemon games have always sold ridiculously well.

It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.

What?! But gen 3 was the best! And there's no other gb game2 remake (I'm nit counting red blue or yellow because they already remade gold and silver,which has kanto and a similar plot)

I personally would like a 3D Colosseum-Esque main series installment.

And Gen II was cearly the best.

@Waffle: It's not true nostalgia if you're not playing the origial. CRYSTAL AND COBALT GBC FTW.

@waffle king Off topic: Nintendo is keeping the original music and sounds from OoT 64 in Ocarina of Time 3D. Nostalgia for the win. :D

My only real gripe with Colloseum and XD is that because there are no wild Pokemon in Colloseum, and very few in XD, the Pokémon team possibilities for the player are very limited, since each game has the same Shadow Pokémon.
