I believe there done with the DSes. They already came out with the 3DS. So I think all of the updates will go to that? I'm not sure?

The last update for the DSI™, DSIXL™, and DSILL™ is in May along with the 3DS's update, it adds the ability to send games to the 3DS that you downloaded on your DSI's
