everything here....will be forgoten. 3ds paint will take over. us, the vetranerins of dsipaint will be forgoten and left in the dust. they wont even know we exist. kinda sad. im gonna miss everyone here. Oh wait i forgot! all the SDK sites are intertwined!
Ill have been in this DSi community for over 2 years now, and I don't see myself leaving it anytime soon (I'll migrate to the 3DS of course.) it's inevitable that some of the veteran users will leave, but as long as new users are joinning, it might not be too bad.
It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.
@Craig: I never said you do, I said it to Hallianne. She usually does. And in case you haven't noticed, I'm not exactly on good enough terms with most Admins to justify me even wanting to kiss up to them. If you wish to troll me further, please redirect to my Profile. Let's just keep the Thread clean-ish.
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
As long as Nintendo continues to create game consoles featuring internet browsers and as long as HullBreach maintains the website, SDK will exist. Starting out with a humble homebrew-centered beginning on the Wii, this website prospered as a social medium on the DSi--demonstrating the popularity of the handheld system. The 3DS, being the succeeding handheld, has the potential to follow suit, and also go on to prove that the DSi era was not the peak of SDK.
As for its members, many will come and go. Due to responsibilities, admins are more likely to remain. There will always be the good and the bad, so no sense worrying about that. With membership going nowhere but up, new systems and mechanisms may be put in place to run the site and keep order.
As for its current legacy, I'm sure SDK will always be remembered as one of the most popular DSi-formatted websites, right up there with DSiCade.
True, I'm sure there will be a small/massive overhaul in the mind for WiiOperaSDK, with the Wii2, aka; Project Cafè coming out, it may call into action the need for the "3DSPaint" of the Wii family...
Speaking of which, I must check if 'Cade is still up. oFTo
