Given how vague comment notifications are now and how many comments can pile up on blogs, why not use # in the URL to auto-scroll to the new comment? Each comment has a unique ID, so I don't see why not. This would be nice in BBs as well.

As a few months ago, profile comment notifs automatically jump you to the comment in question.

Blog comments are nonfunctional as described in this issue.

BBs don't generate notifications at all as of 16 Oct 2020.
