Ah. Idk if this goes for all of them but with my NES the controls seemed to have much more of a delay than virtual console on 3ds or Wii. Wii controls felt most comfortable though and NES controls the least comfortable.

I have. I honestly hate traveling in that game though and that's the main reason I don't return to play it. Besides the overall difficulty and mid-tier controls, of course.
